The deck is a mono-blue spellslinger shell that turns Orvar into a token factory. It casts cheap instants and sorceries that target its own permanents, and each one makes Orvar create a token copy of the targeted permanent. Cantrips, untap effects, flickers and copy spells all do double duty, replacing themselves while cloning value creatures, mana rocks and lands. Wizard payoffs, recursion and tutors keep the spell chain going. How it wins: It snowballs copies of untap creatures, mana rocks, Docent of Perfection, Master of Waves or Precursor Golem into a huge board and mana surge, then swings with a wide flying army or uses the Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal loop for infinite mana and spell triggers. Key roles: - Self-targeting cantrips: One-mana spells that draw a card while targeting a creature, land or artifact the deck controls. With Orvar out, each one also makes a token copy, so card flow and board growth come from the same cards. (Cloak of Feathers, Shore Up, Cerulean Wisps) - Copy and flicker multipliers: Clone spells, flickers and copy creatures double up on Orvar's trigger by making a copy themselves. Flickering ETB creatures also resets their value, and the legend-rule breaker lets legendary copies stack. (Vesuvan Duplimancy, Ghostly Flicker, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces) - Untap and mana engines: Untap spells pointed at lands, rocks and land-untapping creatures make Orvar copy the source while generating extra mana. Devotion payoffs grow as blue permanents get duplicated, and island-based burst mana adds to it. (Peregrine Drake, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, High Tide) - Spell-chain payoffs: Creatures that trigger on every instant or sorcery turn the steady spell stream into cards and bodies. Targeting them gets them copied too, which multiplies the payoff. (Archmage Emeritus, Docent of Perfection, Stormchaser Drake) - Spell recursion and tutors: Wizards and lands that fetch or return instants and sorceries keep key spells and combo pieces available. Copying these ETB creatures repeats the effect. (Spellseeker, Archaeomancer, Mystic Sanctuary) - Combo and lock finishers: The Scepter loop provides an infinite-mana kill line. Precursor Golem multiplies single-target spells across its Golems for explosive token generation, and interaction protects the engine. (Isochron Scepter, Dramatic Reversal, Precursor Golem)
