Saruman of Many Colors rewards casting two spells per turn by milling opponents and immediately stealing and copying impactful instants or sorceries from their graveyards, generating massive card advantage and tempo while grinding down enemy libraries. The deck floods the early game with cheap cantrips and cost-reduction effects to reliably trigger the commander's second-spell ability, while permanents like The Water Crystal amplify each mill trigger to accelerate opponents toward an empty library. As graveyards fill, the deck leverages graveyard-scaling threats, reanimation, and stolen copies of opponents' most powerful spells to close out the game through a combination of mill-out and overwhelming board presence.
