Vren, the Relentless Commander Deck

Vren, the Relentless turns opponent creature deaths into a resource engine by exiling those creatures and then generating a swarm of scaling Rat tokens at each end step, with the tokens growing larger as the Rat population expands. The deck accelerates this engine through a dense suite of forced sacrifice effects, board wipes that selectively spare Rats, and tax effects that continuously drain opponents of their creatures, feeding Vren's exile trigger repeatedly each turn. Once a critical mass of Rats is established, tribal synergies from Marrow-Gnawer and Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm pump the swarm into an overwhelming combat force, while fear and menace effects ensure the tokens can connect for a lethal attack.
