Lightning, Army of One Commander Deck
Lightning, Army of One is an equipment-voltron deck that arms its commander with a suite of powerful weapons to trigger its Stagger ability, doubling all damage dealt to a player for the remainder of the turn and enabling devastating follow-up hits from direct damage spells, sword triggers, and additional combat phases. The deck uses equipment tutors, cost-reduction effects, and cards like Stoneforge Mystic to rapidly assemble the right gear, while double strike enablers and extra combat sources multiply the number of times Lightning can connect and spread Stagger's damage-doubling effect across the table. The primary win condition is an infinite combat loop using The Reaver Cleaver and Aggravated Assault, generating enough Treasure tokens to continuously fund additional combat phases until opponents are eliminated.
