The Necrobloom

The Necrobloom Commander Deck

by sacred_myr100 cards

Landfall from The Necrobloom turns every land drop, fetch and ramp spell into a creature token, and the 0/1 Plants grow into 2/2 Zombies once seven differently named lands are out. The rest of the deck is an aristocrats engine. Those bodies and its own creatures are sacrificed or traded off for death triggers that drain, draw cards, and make more Spirit tokens. Counters, reanimation and death-replacement effects keep nontoken creatures coming back to fire their death triggers again. How it wins: It builds a wide, self-replenishing board of tokens and flyers, drains opponents through repeated death triggers and swings wide, and can also loop The Gitrog Monster with the commander's land dredge to mill and draw the whole library. Key roles: - Land-drop token engine: Extra land drops, replaying lands from the graveyard, fetchlands and ramp turn the commander's landfall into steady token production, and land-sacrifice effects feed it further (Oracle of Mul Daya, Ramunap Excavator, Harrow) - Sacrifice outlets and death payoffs: Tokens and spent creatures are sacrificed for scry, card draw, life drain and land searches, with Teysa doubling every death trigger (Cauldron of Essence, Teysa Karlov, Moldervine Reclamation) - Spirit and token multiplication: Nontoken deaths and token creation snowball into more flying Spirits, and Divine Visitation upgrades every Plant, Zombie and Spirit into a 4/4 Angel (Divine Visitation, Thalisse, Reverent Medium, Field of Souls) - Counters subtheme: +1/+1 counters grow the board and turn creature deaths into extra Inklings, card draw or Spirit tokens (Winding Constrictor, Felisa, Fang of Silverquill, Bloodspore Thrinax) - Recursion and graveyard value: Creatures are returned from the graveyard so their death value repeats, while creature cards leaving the yard grow Plants and add mana-producing tokens (Valkyrie's Call, Insidious Roots, Phyrexian Reclamation) - Gitrog dredge combo: The Gitrog Monster draws whenever lands hit the graveyard, and the commander lets those lands dredge back instead of drawing, so the two loop for self-mill and land-drop value (The Gitrog Monster, Buried Alive, Evolving Wilds)
