Saheeli, the Gifted

Saheeli, the Gifted Commander Deck

by ember_eye100 cards

This is an artifact-density deck built around Saheeli, the Gifted. It floods the board with cheap mana rocks, artifact lands and Servo or Thopter tokens, then turns that artifact count into payoffs, leaning on low-cost engines that come down early and grow in value with every artifact rather than waiting on expensive finishers. The count feeds affinity and improvise discounts, cost reducers, historic and cast triggers that draw cards or make tokens, and copy effects that double key artifacts. Saheeli builds the count with Servos, discounts the next spell with her affinity +1, and threatens a -7 that copies every artifact with haste for an explosive turn. How it wins: It overwhelms opponents with wide flying artifact armies built by cheap token and draw engines and pumped by artifact-count scalers, then closes with big artifact threats like Blightsteel Colossus or Myr Battlesphere, a Mechanized Production alternate win, or Mycosynth Lattice locking the table under Steel Hellkite. Key roles: - Artifact density and fast mana: Cheap rocks and artifact lands raise the artifact count early, so Saheeli's affinity +1, affinity and improvise spells and count-based mana become cheap or free. (Sol Ring, Blinkmoth Urn, Urza, Lord High Artificer) - Cheap payoffs and cast-trigger engines: Low-cost reducers chain artifact spells together. Two- to four-mana creatures that trigger on artifact or historic casts turn each cheap spell into a card or a flying token, which gives the deck early payoffs that start paying off the turn after they land. (Sai, Master Thopterist, Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Etherium Sculptor) - Token generation and sacrifice value: Saheeli, cheap Thopter makers and one-mana token factories keep producing small artifact creatures. These pad the artifact count and feed draw-on-death or sacrifice outlets, making them inexpensive card-advantage payoffs on their own. (Thopter Spy Network, Retrofitter Foundry, Skullclamp) - Copy and clone effects: Effects that duplicate artifacts multiply big threats or mana rocks. They set up the eight-copy win and amplify Saheeli's -7, with haste granters making copied attackers lethal at once. (Mirrorworks, Mechanized Production, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer) - Scalers and big artifact finishers: Mid-cost bodies that grow with the artifact count serve as efficient threats, while larger artifact creatures end the game outright. Tutors and graveyard recursion find or rebuy them. (Darksteel Juggernaut, Blightsteel Colossus, Whir of Invention) - Lattice lock and board protection: Mycosynth Lattice turns every permanent into an artifact, so Steel Hellkite can destroy opponents' permanents of any type and Cyclonic Rift can clear their boards while the deck's own artifacts stay put. Hexproof and indestructible effects shield the artifact board from removal. (Mycosynth Lattice, Darksteel Forge, Padeem, Consul of Innovation)
