The deck floods the graveyard through surveil, self-mill, looting, and tutors like Buried Alive to set up the exact creature cards Lazav needs, while cost-reduction effects make chaining activations within a single turn affordable. Countermagic and interaction protect the commander long enough to execute the one-shot kill, making Lazav a consistent and resilient voltron-combo threat.
