The First Doctor leads a cascade-focused strategy that chains free spells together by loading the deck with cascade enablers, cards that grant cascade to other spells, and effects that let you cast spells from exile, creating explosive multi-spell turns. Each cascade trigger places +1/+1 counters on artifacts or creatures, and the deck rewards casting spells from outside your hand through creatures that deal damage to opponents, draw cards, copy spells, or generate tokens with every such cast. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents through the accumulated damage and value of these chain reactions, with high-impact spells like Call Forth the Tempest and Volcanic Torrent serving as finishers that deal massive damage scaled to how many spells have been cast in a single turn.
