Firion, Wild Rose Warrior

Firion, Wild Rose Warrior Commander Deck

by Reaperish100 cards

Mono-red Equipment aggro built around Firion, Wild Rose Warrior. Every nontoken Equipment that enters is copied for a turn, with the copy's equip costs reduced by 2, and everything wearing Equipment has haste. The deck leans hard on Equipment that brings its own body (For Mirrodin!, job select, living weapon), so Firion's copy makes a second hasty, equipped token creature. Extra combat effects, cheat-in effects and free attachment turn that wide board of armed attackers into lethal swings. How it wins: The deck builds a wide board of hasty equipped creatures and token soldiers, then takes extra combat phases with untap and double strike effects to overwhelm opponents through combat damage. Key roles: - Equipment that makes bodies: These cards bring their own creature, and Firion's temporary copy brings another. Each card becomes two hasty, equipped attackers, and the copy can be re-equipped cheaply before it is sacrificed (Hexplate Wallbreaker, Dragonwing Glider, Samurai's Katana). - Extra combats: Untap effects and additional combat phases multiply the damage from equipped attackers. Some come from Equipment, which Firion also copies, letting the trigger stack up (Genji Glove, Aggravated Assault, Great Train Heist). - Equipment cheating and free attaching: These put Equipment onto the battlefield or move it at no cost. Each Equipment that enters this way still triggers Firion, and the deck sidesteps steep equip costs (Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms, Godo, Bandit Warlord, Hammer of Nazahn). - Equipment-count payoffs: These scale with the number of Equipment and artifacts in play, which Firion's tokens temporarily inflate, producing burst draw, mass tokens and huge stat boosts (Swordsman's Steel, Goldwardens' Gambit, Reckless Crew). - Artifact sacrifice and token value: The Firion copies are sacrificed every upkeep, and other cards turn those artifacts going to the graveyard, and the token bodies dying, into goblins, cards or recursion (Krenko, Baron of Tin Street, Skullclamp, Goblin Welder). - Tempo and card flow: Draw off attacks and impulse exile keep the hand stocked with Equipment, while red interaction and redirection clear blockers and protect the board (Adaptive Omnitool, Professional Face-Breaker, Untimely Malfunction).
