Will, Scion of Peace Commander Deck

by Mezentio100 cards

Will turns lifegain into mana. Once the deck has gained life during its main phase, tapping Will makes every white and blue spell cheaper for the rest of the turn, and big X spells like Sphinx's Revelation, Finale of Glory, Storm Herd and the Martial Coup family get a huge discount. Cheap repeatable lifegain, lifegain amplifiers and untap effects feed this. Untapping Will lets it be activated again in the same turn, which stacks the reductions, while the lifegain itself also draws cards, grows creatures and makes tokens. How it wins: It gains a burst of life early in a turn, uses Will's discount to cast oversized X-spell token makers, wraths and draw spells, then wins through combat with a huge token army or counter-pumped lifegain creatures, with Psychosis Crawler drain as a backup. Key roles: - Lifegain enablers: Cheap, repeatable life sources gain life before Will is tapped each turn, including tap-to-gain creatures, artifacts, life-gaining lands, instant burst spells and token-entry triggers. (Soulmender, Pristine Talisman, Martyr of Sands) - Lifegain amplifiers: Replacement effects add to or double each instance of lifegain, which inflates Will's discount and every lifegain payoff trigger. (Rhox Faithmender, Angel of Vitality, Leyline of Hope) - Untap tricks: Effects that untap creatures or permanents let Will activate more than once per turn for a stacked discount, and also reuse tap-for-life creatures and mana rocks. (Ioreth of the Healing House, Kelpie Guide, Reality Spasm) - Discounted X spells: Mass token makers and token-making wraths, cheapened by the life gained that turn, build a board or reset the opponents' board while leaving tokens behind. (Finale of Glory, Storm Herd, White Sun's Twilight) - Lifegain payoffs: Triggers that turn each life gain into cards, +1/+1 counters or Angel tokens keep the engine running and make the threats bigger. (Well of Lost Dreams, Nykthos Paragon, Angelic Accord) - Draw-drain loop: Lifegain draws cards, card draw gains life back, and every card drawn makes opponents lose life. This is a secondary way to close games. (Drogskol Reaver, Shabraz, the Skyshark, Psychosis Crawler)
