Kardur, Doomscourge
Kardur, Doomscourge Commander Deck
Kardur forces opponents' creatures to attack each other for a turn cycle and drains the table whenever any attacking creature dies. The deck pairs that political goading with an aggressive Rakdos creature suite that swings every turn, and leans on death triggers, temporary attacking tokens and theft effects to turn every combat into incremental life loss. Mobilize and myriad bodies, extra combats of chaos from goad, and drain enchantments let it chip opponents down while staying the player no one can afford to attack. How it wins: Repeated wide attacks plus stacked death-drain and "whenever you attack" triggers bleed all opponents out, with burn finishers like Breath of Malfegor and a doubled-damage turn closing the game. Key roles: - Goad and forced combat: Kardur and other effects make opponents' creatures attack each other, thinning blockers and feeding attacking-creature death triggers while deflecting aggression away. (Geode Rager, Hunted Dragon, Hunted Horror) - Wide attacking bodies: Temporary tokens and copies that enter tapped and attacking widen every swing, trigger raid and attack-count effects, and die at end step or in combat to drain through Kardur. (Avenger of the Fallen, Dalek Squadron, Lagomos, Hand of Hatred) - Death drain engine: Creatures and enchantments that convert any creature dying, on either side, into life loss, damage, cards or Treasure. (Blood Artist, Mayhem Devil, Garna, Bloodfist of Keld) - Attack-trigger punishment: Effects that hit opponents simply for attacking or connecting, rewarding the deck for swinging every turn regardless of blocks. (Within Range, Perforating Artist, Tectonic Giant) - Threaten and steal: Borrowing opponents' best creatures to swing with them, then sacrificing or reanimating stolen threats, adds pressure and fodder. (Mark of Mutiny, Lose Calm, Sepulchral Primordial) - Damage amplification and finishers: Doubling damage and direct burn turn the accumulated pings and drains into a lethal burst. (Dictate of the Twin Gods, Breath of Malfegor, Warlock Class)
