Squall, Gunblade Duelist sits at the center of a goad-and-attack strategy, forcing opponents' creatures to attack each other while triggering Squall's passive damage whenever creatures with the chosen power or toughness join those attacks. The deck uses combat instigators, attack triggers, and resource payoff engines to normalize early combat and keep the table in motion, generating cards and mana while opponents fight each other and life totals steadily erode. When opponents overcommit to attacks, a suite of held aikido punishers converts that aggression into lethal blowback, with Sunforger serving as a flexible toolbox to deploy the right answer at the right moment.
