K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth turns life into a resource, letting you pay life instead of black mana to rapidly deploy threats and chain spells while growing K'rrik larger with every black spell cast. The deck sustains this life-spending through an extensive lifelink package and life-gain payoffs, then converts that accumulated life into lethal damage through Aetherflux Reservoir's 50-damage cannon or drains opponents out with Exsanguinate and life-loss triggers from cards like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Supporting this core are board control through sacrifice effects and removal, recursion to replay key creatures, and enough card draw to keep the engine running at speed.
