Teysa Karlov runs an Orzhov aristocrats deck. It makes a steady stream of creature tokens, sacrifices them to free outlets, and lets Teysa double every death trigger, so each body that dies drains the table twice. Token makers and doublers keep the fodder coming, while Drivnod and Delney stack additional trigger copies. Grave Pact effects and mass sacrifice turn the same loop into a lock on opposing boards. Teysa also gives the tokens vigilance and lifelink, which feeds the lifegain-to-drain payoffs. How it wins: Opponents bleed out from repeated, doubled drain triggers as creatures die in bulk, with Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubling the life loss on its controller's turn, Gray Merchant and Kokusho bursts, and loops like Reassembling Skeleton plus a mana-producing sac outlet for an unbounded drain. Key roles: - Death-drain payoffs: These turn every creature death into life loss for each opponent, and with Teysa each death pings twice, or more with a second doubler. The once-per-turn ones only pay out once regardless. (Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance) - Trigger and life-loss multipliers: These stack extra copies of death triggers on top of Teysa, give small creatures doubled triggers, and double opponents' life loss during their controller's turn, so modest drains become lethal. (Drivnod, Carnage Dominus, Delney, Streetwise Lookout, Bloodletter of Aclazotz) - Token fodder and doublers: Recurring and death-triggered token makers, mobilize attackers that must be sacrificed anyway, and token doublers keep sacrifice fodder plentiful. The created tokens also feed token-entry drains and the Idol's card draw. (Bitterblossom, Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus) - Free sac outlets and mana engines: Outlets that cost nothing or make mana or Treasure convert fodder into resources. With a recursive creature they form repeatable loops that power the drain. (Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's Altar, Reassembling Skeleton) - Death-fueled card advantage: Sacrificing creatures draws cards, and Teysa doubles qualifying death triggers like Skullclamp's draw-two, so the deck never runs out of gas. (Skullclamp, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Pitiless Plunderer) - Edict lock and board resets: Every creature that dies forces opponents to sacrifice too, doubled by Teysa. Mass sacrifice and wraths clear opposing boards while the deck's own deaths trigger drains, and mass reanimation refills the board afterward. (Grave Pact, Blasphemous Edict, Raise the Past)
