Atraxa, Praetors' Voice sits at the center of a +1/+1 counter synergy deck that uses proliferate — triggered every end step by the commander — to continuously grow creatures beyond normal bounds. The deck layers on effects that reward counter accumulation, such as drawing cards when creatures with counters deal combat damage, making creatures unblockable when they have +1/+1 counters, and multiplying counters through landfall-based proliferate and doubling effects like Kalonian Hydra. The win condition is an overwhelming board of massive creatures that become too large and too numerous to stop, supported by token generation from counter-fed engines like Ghave, Guru of Spores and Mycoloth.
