Loot, the Anomaly turns negative power into damage, so this mono-black deck works to drive Loot's power as far below zero as possible. It stacks -X/-0 auras, debuff instants, static -1/-1 effects and self-shrinking abilities on him, then swings with him as an evasive, armored threat. The same debuffs double as removal and board control against opponents, so the deck plays a grindy control game while Loot becomes a lethal attacker, backed by heavy toughness equipment so he survives his own -1/-1 effects. How it wins: Loot's combat damage, scaled by stacked negative power and made unblockable or doubled, kills opponents one at a time, or the Agatha's Soul Cauldron plus Lemure combo gives him unlimited negative power for infinite damage. Key roles: - Negative power stacking: Auras, pump-in-reverse instants and tap abilities pile -X/-0 onto Loot, turning him into a huge attacker. The recursive auras and repeatable effects can be reused. (Torment, Clinging Darkness, Belbe's Armor) - Toughness and survival: Equipment adding big toughness, indestructibility or protection keeps Loot alive through -X/-1 effects and the deck's own global shrinking. (Captain America's Shield, Slagwurm Armor, Mithril Coat) - Evasion and damage multipliers: Unblockable, fear and double-strike effects make sure Loot's large negative-power hits connect, and doubling turns one hit into a kill. Low-power evasion clauses like skulk and Thieves' Tools combo naturally with negative power. (Fireshrieker, Thieves' Tools, Brotherhood Regalia) - Cauldron infinite combo: Exiling a Lemure with Agatha's Soul Cauldron gives a countered Loot a free repeatable -1/-0 ability, which means unbounded damage. Tutors find the pieces. (Agatha's Soul Cauldron, Hyalopterous Lemure, Viscid Lemures) - Symmetric -1/-1 control: Global shrinking, -1/-1 counters and attack restrictions wipe small creatures and lock opponents' big attackers, while Loot is unaffected or even helped by low power. (Night of Souls' Betrayal, Ensnaring Bridge, Nest of Scarabs) - Threshold fuel and sacrifice: Cheap spells and surveil fill the graveyard toward seven cards. Loot's threshold sacrifice turns spare creatures and tokens into more negative power, with Grave Pact punishing opponents for each one. (Grave Pact, Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker, Diresight)
