Gisa and Geralf fuel their strategy by continuously milling cards into the graveyard, then casting Zombies directly from it each turn to maintain pressure without relying solely on hand resources. The deck builds an ever-growing army of Zombies through token generators, lord effects that grant stat bonuses and keywords like deathtouch and menace, and mass reanimation tools including Rooftop Storm, which can make the entire Zombie army free to cast. The win condition is overwhelming opponents through combat with a large, buffed horde, with Gempalm Polluter's cycling trigger and Diregraf Captain's death trigger providing additional life drain to close out games.
