Sauron, the Dark Lord sits at the center of a synergy-driven engine where every spell an opponent casts grows a shared Orc Army token, and combat damage with that Army triggers the Ring temptation mechanic, which lets Sauron repeatedly discard and redraw four cards for massive hand advantage. The deck accelerates into this engine through fast mana and reanimation, using discard outlets to stock the graveyard before returning threats like Archon of Cruelty or Razaketh, the Foulblooded to the battlefield, with Razaketh in particular serving as a tutor engine that assembles winning lines. The game ends through a combination of evasive, oversized threats applying pressure, disruptive board wipes to keep opponents off balance, and the relentless card advantage from the Ring temptation loop overwhelming opponents' resources.
