Rendmaw, Creaking Nest sits at the center of a heavily artifact-focused strategy that floods the board with cost reducers, mana rocks, and zero- and low-cost artifacts to generate overwhelming resources. Because Rendmaw triggers whenever you play a card with two or more card types, the deck leverages artifact lands, artifact creatures, and other multi-typed permanents to continuously produce goaded flying tokens that pressure opponents and keep the table fighting each other — with the primary win condition being to amass enough of these Birds to close out the game through combat. The deck also supports combo finishes through Cloudstone Curio bouncing cheap artifacts to chain Rendmaw triggers, or an infinite sacrifice loop using Scrap Trawler and Myr Retriever with Ashnod's Altar and any cost reducer, recycling artifacts endlessly to generate infinite mana and death triggers that can be pointed at a lethal outlet.
