MR MK3 (6.7)
Kratos, God of War Commander Deck
Mono-red Voltron-flavored aggro built around Kratos, who gives every creature haste and punishes any player whose creatures sit back, so opponents are pushed to attack each other while this deck swings every turn. The core engine is extra combat phases (Godo, Combat Celebrant, Moraug, Éomer, Desert Were-Worm, World at War, Breath of Fury) stacked on double strike, equipment and damage amplification, so each untap multiplies the damage dealt. Goad effects and Angel's Trumpet layer extra pressure, forcing opposing boards into attacks or punishing them at end step. How it wins: It chains repeated combat phases with equipped, pumped attackers, with Torbran adding damage, and can end the game outright through Breath of Fury looping with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Helm of the Host for infinite combats. Key roles: - Extra combat engine: Untap effects and additional combat phases turn a single attack step into several, each one re-triggering attack bonuses and double strike damage (Godo, Bandit Warlord, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, World at War) - Equipment and Voltron pressure: Equipment, some fetched by tutoring creatures, makes one hasty legendary threat huge, evasive and hard to answer, with Kratos's double strike doubling every bonus (Blackblade Reforged, Commander's Plate, Hero's Heirloom) - Forced-attack punishment: Kratos's end-step damage, Angel's Trumpet and goad pieces push opponents into attacking each other, then punish idle creatures or reward goaded hits with Treasure (Angel's Trumpet, Puppet Master, String Puller, Life of the Party) - Damage amplification: Static and attack-trigger effects add flat damage to every red source and strip blockers, so wide or repeated attacks close fast (Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Bedlam, Mjölnir, Storm Hammer) - Breath of Fury combo: Sacrificing a token copy to move the Aura grants another untap and combat each time, giving unlimited combats with a copy maker (Breath of Fury, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Helm of the Host) - Legendary mana and value: Rituals, Treasure from combat damage and legend-tapping mana accelerate expensive threats and equip costs (Relic of Legends, Gimli of the Glittering Caves, Killmonger, Ruthless Usurper)
