Gimbal turns a wide spread of differently named artifact tokens into an ever-larger Gremlin each end step, and gives every artifact creature trample. The deck generates a diverse token suite: Food, Clue, Treasure, Blood, Powerstone, Servo, Thopter, Banana, Meteorite, Rock, Munitions, Icy Manalith and more. Token doublers and copy effects multiply that board, while anthems, flying and trample turn the pile of artifacts into lethal combat. How it wins: It overwhelms opponents with a wide, growing army of artifact creatures and huge Gremlins, pumped by artifact-count anthems and given trample or flying, backed by burn from Meteorite, Rock and Munitions tokens. Key roles: - Token variety engines: Many cards each create a differently named artifact token. This raises Gimbal's X and bolster counts and fuels the payoffs that sacrifice tokens with different names (Academy Manufactor, Transmutation Font, Tireless Provisioner). - Token multipliers and copying: Doublers multiply every token made. Copy effects duplicate the best artifacts or Gremlins, or turn the whole token board into copies of one big token (Doubling Season, Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer). - Artifact-count payoffs: Creatures and anthems grow with the number of artifacts or distinct token names, scaling the board into a lethal force (Master of Etherium, Sandsteppe War Riders, Saheeli, Filigree Master). - Evasion and animation: Flying grants, haste and Gimbal's trample make the army hard to block. Noncreature artifacts can be animated into extra attackers for an alpha strike (Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, Combine Chrysalis). - Token-fueled value and mana: Tokens double as ramp and card draw, keeping the engine fed. This includes Treasure and mana-token boosts, draw on token creation, and tapping artifacts for cards (Roxanne, Starfall Savant, Idol of Oblivion, Shimmer Dragon). - Token-triggered disruption and reach: New tokens tap down opponents' permanents, damage-dealing tokens chip at opponents and their boards, and an attack shuts off enemy blockers (Junk Winder, Weapons Manufacturing, Vedalken Humiliator).
