Ghoulcaller Gisa Commander Deck

by wildborn_faerie100 cards

Mono-black Zombie aristocrats built around Ghoulcaller Gisa, whose B, tap, sacrifice ability turns one creature into a number of 2/2 Zombie tokens equal to its power. High-power, low-cost bodies (Yargle, Kalakscion, Rotting Regisaur, Grave Titan) and anthem-boosted Zombies are fed to Gisa for big token bursts. Those tokens then fuel a wide lord-pumped army, plus a web of sacrifice outlets and death triggers that drain opponents and draw cards. Gisa can only activate once per untap, but Marvin can copy her ability and Swiftfoot Boots gives her haste to use it right away. How it wins: It floods the board with Zombie tokens, then either swings with an evasive, lord-pumped horde or grinds opponents out through mass sacrifice and drain triggers like Vengeful Dead, Plague Belcher, Bastion of Remembrance and Gray Merchant. Key roles: - Big-power fodder: Cheap or vanilla creatures with huge power exist mainly to be sacrificed to Ghoulcaller Gisa for seven to nine Zombies at once. Some can also come back from the graveyard to be cashed in again. (Yargle, Glutton of Urborg, Kalakscion, Hunger Tyrant, Rotting Regisaur) - Token generation: Beyond Ghoulcaller Gisa, a range of cards and spells keep making 2/2 Zombies, including copies of the commander's activated ability. Some trigger off casting Zombies, off Zombies dying, or off opposing creatures dying. (Marvin, Murderous Mimic, Diregraf Colossus, Headless Rider) - Lords and evasion: Anthems, deathtouch and cost reduction make every token a real threat. Menace and swampwalk let the horde connect in combat. (Lord of the Accursed, Death Baron, Zombie Master) - Sacrifice outlets and death drains: Free sacrifice outlets turn the token supply into life loss for opponents whenever Zombies or other creatures die. Edict effects and mass sacrifice both clear opposing boards and trigger this payoff network. (Carrion Feeder, Vengeful Dead, Bastion of Remembrance) - Death-fueled card draw: Creatures dying, or Zombies being counted, refill the hand, so each sacrifice also builds card advantage. (Skullclamp, Undead Augur, Graveborn Muse) - Recursion: Reanimation and graveyard casting bring back sacrificed fatties and key Zombies to be sacrificed again. This sustains the loop through removal and board wipes. (Reanimate, Victimize, Zul Ashur, Lich Lord)
