Zirda, the Dawnwaker functions as a companion, coming into hand for a reduced cost and then cheapening all activated abilities across the deck, making tap abilities on artifacts and creatures far more efficient to chain together. The deck leverages artifact tutoring and recursion through sacrifice-and-search loops, cycling low-cost artifacts up the curve to assemble key pieces, while Goblin Welder and Oswald Fiddlebender serve as engines for this artifact toolbox. Treasure generation is a major theme, amplified by Anointed Procession to double tokens, and the deck pressures opponents through resource denial via taxing effects on noncreature spells and repeated soft-lock elements like Grand Abolisher and opponents being unable to cast spells on your turn.
