Isshin doubles every attack trigger on permanents its controller has, so this cEDH-style Mardu list packs creatures whose value comes from attacking: token makers, treasure generators, drain effects and extra-combat enablers that all fire twice under Isshin. Fast mana and a dense tutor suite assemble the commander plus a few of these pieces early. A heavy layer of stax and turn-protection (Grand Abolisher, Myrel, Silence, Deafening Silence, High Noon, Drannith Magistrate) keeps opponents from interacting while the attacks snowball. How it wins: It swings with doubled attack triggers that flood the board with tokens and drain life, chained into extra combats and infinite combat loops (Godo or Combat Celebrant with Kiki-Jiki, Reflection of Kiki-Jiki, Helm of the Host or Rionya) until opponents die. Key roles: - Doubled attack-trigger token engines: attackers that create tapped-and-attacking tokens or grow, producing huge boards in one swing when Isshin doubles them (Hero of Bladehold, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon). - Attack-trigger drain and damage: creatures that hurt each opponent per attacker or per small creature, turning wide token boards into lethal damage on doubled triggers (Commissar Severina Raine, Arabella, Abandoned Doll, Signal Pest). - Extra combats and copy loops: untap and additional-combat effects, paired with copy makers to create infinite combats or repeated attack triggers (Godo, Bandit Warlord, Combat Celebrant, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker). - Attack-triggered value: attackers that produce Treasure, cards or exiled plays when they swing, doubled by Isshin to fuel mana and card advantage (Goldspan Dragon, Kellogg, Dangerous Mind, Laelia, the Blade Reforged). - Tutors and fast mana: a dense package that finds combo or engine pieces and deploys them quickly (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Mana Vault). - Stax and turn protection: effects that stop opponents from casting spells or activating abilities during the attacking turn, plus taxes and graveyard hate that slow rivals (Grand Abolisher, Myrel, Shield of Argive, Silence).
