The deck focuses on flooding the battlefield with high-toughness creature tokens to trigger massive life gain from Trostani's enter-the-battlefield ability, then using her populate ability to repeatedly copy the biggest and most impactful tokens in play. By generating enormous life totals, the deck can leverage life-as-a-resource effects and outlast opponents while building an overwhelming board presence through token multiplication. The win condition is typically achieved by populating powerful tokens into an army large enough to win through combat damage, often with the help of anthems or tokens that have inherent value like lifelink or strong enter-the-battlefield effects.
