Grixis Villains built around connive and discard. Doctor Doom gives a Villain menace and makes it connive every combat, and creatures like Kang, Ultron, Prowler and Doc Ock's Henchmen add more connive triggers. Each loot grows the Villains through +1/+1 counters and turns into extra value from payoffs that care about conniving or discarding. Discarded lands drain each opponent for 2 through Doom, while discard engines turn every looted card into treasure, tokens, card draw or direct life loss. How it wins: A wide board of growing, evasive Villains and tokens attacks while repeated discard triggers drain opponents, through Doom's land-discard drain, Glint-Horn pings and Monument to Endurance, until the table runs out of life. Key roles: - Connive engines: Villains and effects that make creatures loot again and again, feeding every discard and counter payoff while sculpting the hand, with Doctor Doom, King of Latveria triggering each combat (Kang, Temporal Tyrant, Ultron, Unlimited, Prowler, Clawed Thief) - Connive payoffs: cards that turn each connive into extra counters across the Villain team, artifact tokens, or a free-spell cascade of the top cards (Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Glorious Purpose, Ultron, Unlimited) - Discard payoffs and drain: each discarded card becomes damage, life loss, mana, tokens or a replayable card from exile, and land discards double up with Doctor Doom, King of Latveria's 2-life drain on each opponent (Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Monument to Endurance, Bone Miser) - Villain tribal density: cost reducers, recursion and token makers that reward casting Villain spells and fill the board with extra Villain bodies (Madame Hydra, Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Mysterio, Master of Illusion) - Copy and draw-two synergies: copy effects double up key Villains, and drawing a second card each turn triggers drains and hasty Ape tokens (Spark Double, Red Ghost, Intangible Genius, Loki, the Deceiver) - Looting spells and graveyard value: wheels and loot spells drive the discard engine, while recursion and mayhem pay off anything that lands in the graveyard (Faithless Looting, Windfall, Reanimate)
