Baylen, the Haymaker Commander Deck

by radiant_licid100 cards

Baylen is a go-wide token deck that turns piles of creature, Treasure and Food tokens into mana, cards and a huge trampling commander. Token doublers multiply every token made, and creature tokens entering trigger damage engines that drain the table. Untap effects on opponents' turns let the token army be tapped twice per round: once for Baylen's abilities and again to block, attack or keep spending. How it wins: It floods the board with tokens until mass entry triggers burn opponents out, or it swings wide with an anthem-boosted, often double-striking army, with Halo Fountain as an alternate win once fifteen creatures can be untapped. Key roles: - Token doublers: These multiply every token-making effect, so each spell or trigger produces enough bodies and artifacts to feed Baylen's tap costs and the damage engines. (Doubling Season, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Parallel Lives) - Token makers: X-spells, attack triggers and repeatable generators flood the board with creature tokens, and some sweepers leave only the tokens behind. (Martial Coup, Jacked Rabbit, Myrel, Shield of Argive) - Treasure and Food economy: Artifact tokens tax opponents' draws and spells or come from combat damage. Baylen, The Cabbage Merchant and Apothecary White convert them into mana, cards or more creatures, and Academy Manufactor and Stridehangar Automaton widen each artifact token. (Smothering Tithe, Academy Manufactor, Old Gnawbone) - Entry-trigger burn: Each creature entering pings every opponent, turning one mass token spell into lethal damage. (Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator) - Untap engine: Untapping on every other player's untap step lets Baylen and Gaea's Cradle tap the whole army each turn cycle, and the untap effects also power Halo Fountain. (Seedborn Muse, Drumbellower, Halo Fountain) - Anthems and closing combat: Team-wide pumps and Baylen's counters turn the wide board into lethal attacks, while free mass protection keeps the army alive through sweepers. (Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Champions from Beyond, Flawless Maneuver)
