Reaper King turns every Scarecrow entering the battlefield into a Vindicate, so the deck focuses on generating rapid, repeated Scarecrow enters-the-battlefield triggers to chain permanent destruction and dismantle opponents' boards. The core combo engine revolves around Changeling Berserker, Changeling Hero, and Changeling Titan, which are Changelings that count as Scarecrows and can be bounced back to hand or recast through their Champion mechanic, allowing the deck to loop enters-the-battlefield triggers and destroy multiple permanents in a single turn. Because Reaper King's hybrid mana cost can be paid with any combination of colored or generic mana, it is highly castable out of a five-color shell that exists primarily to enable this fast combo kill by stripping opponents of all meaningful permanents before they can respond.
