Kilo is an artifact counters deck. It taps Kilo as often as possible, through attacks, untap auras, station and crew, to proliferate charge and +1/+1 counters across a board of Spacecraft, mana rocks and growing artifact creatures. Tekuthal doubles every proliferate, and All Will Be One turns each counter added into damage. Cheap artifacts, cost reducers and top-of-library casting keep the board growing and the counters snowballing into lethal threats, alternate wins or huge mana. How it wins: It proliferates counters until Darksteel Reactor reaches twenty, stationed Spacecraft like Dawnsire swing as huge evasive threats, or All Will Be One and Walking Ballista convert the counter flood into direct damage, with poison as a side angle. Key roles: - Tap-and-untap engine: Kilo has haste, so it can attack at once, and repeatable untap effects let it tap again and again for multiple proliferates each turn. Stationing and crewing also tap Kilo, which gives counters to the Spacecraft and proliferates at the same time. (Freed from the Real, Pemmin's Aura, Aura of Dominion) - Proliferate amplifiers and extra sources: Doubling proliferate and adding more proliferate triggers multiply every counter on the board. (Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Cayth, Famed Mechanist, Recon Craft Theta) - Counter-bearing payoffs: Charge-counter artifacts and Spacecraft get stronger with each proliferate. They become a game-winning Reactor, colossal flyers, explosive mana or scaling card draw. (Darksteel Reactor, Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought, Insight Engine) - Counters into damage: Every counter placed or removed can become damage to opponents or their creatures, and moving counters off dying permanents keeps the value. (All Will Be One, Walking Ballista, Resourceful Defense) - Artifact density and cost reduction: Cost reducers, sunburst and charge-counter mana rocks, and casting artifacts from the top of the library flood the board with counter-holding artifacts. They also turn on metalcraft, affinity and improvise. (Etherium Sculptor, Mystic Forge, Everflowing Chalice) - Artifact value and copying: Artifact casts draw cards, get copied, or tutor up the next piece, which keeps the engine fed and protected. (Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Ultron, Artificial Malevolence, Iron Man, Titan of Innovation)
