Atraxa, Grand Unifier is a seven-mana value engine. Its enter trigger reveals ten cards and keeps one of each card type, so the deck is built to cheat it out early and then re-trigger it repeatedly. Fast mana and mana creatures bring it down ahead of curve, Food Chain turns creatures into creature-only mana, and Clever Impersonator and Phyrexian Metamorph copy it. A large blink suite (Ephemerate, Displacer Kitten, Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and others) flickers Atraxa or value creatures over and over. A dense tutor and interaction package keeps the game on track until a compact combo finish is assembled. How it wins: Mostly through Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, with backups in Orcish Bowmasters plus Peer into the Abyss, Laboratory Maniac or Jace draw-outs, Approach of the Second Sun, and extra turns or a lifelinking 7/7 flier beating down. Key roles: - Cheating out the Unifier: fast mana, mana dorks, Treasure, and mana that scales with the deck's colors let the seven-drop land early, and Food Chain converts exiled creatures into mana for creature spells. (Food Chain, Bloom Tender, Faeburrow Elder) - Blink engine: repeatable and instant-speed flickers re-trigger Atraxa's ten-card reveal and other enter-the-battlefield creatures, generating huge card advantage each turn. (Displacer Kitten, Soulherder, Ephemerate) - Copy and clone effects: clones and copy spells duplicate Atraxa's trigger or any key permanent. Doppelgang can create several copies at once. (Clever Impersonator, Phyrexian Metamorph, Doppelgang) - Infinite-mana loops: Devoted Druid, Kiora's untaps, Peregrine Drake with blinkers, and Food Chain with cast-from-exile creatures can loop mana or bodies. Freed from the Real on the Druid is a classic engine, and The Great Henge rewards every creature entering. (Food Chain, Eternal Scourge, Misthollow Griffin) - Consultation and Oracle combo: tutors find the two-card library-exile win, and Atraxa's reveal naturally grabs a creature and an instant at once. Alternate library-out payoffs back it up. (Thassa's Oracle, Demonic Consultation, Tainted Pact) - Stax and countermagic shell: free and cheap counters, plus effects that lock opponents out of acting on the deck's turn, protect the combo turn.
