Rhys the Redeemed leads a token doubling strategy that floods the board by generating creature tokens and then exponentially multiplying them with his activated ability, supported by enchantments and permanents that double token production like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives. The deck builds toward an overwhelming board state using token payoffs that grow creatures based on the number of tokens you control, spread counters across the army, or pump everything for a lethal alpha strike via Triumph of the Hordes or Craterhoof Behemoth. The deck also includes the Midnight Guard plus Presence of Gond combo as an infinite token win condition, and can leverage large self-copying tokens like Giant Adephage and Phyrexian Triniform to rapidly expand the board when Rhys's mass duplication ability resolves.
