Kardur, Doomscourge Commander Deck

by spectral_orc352100 cards

Kardur, Doomscourge is a forced-combat engine: its enter trigger makes every opposing creature attack someone other than its controller's owner, and every attacking creature that dies drains each opponent for 1. The deck leans on blink and re-entry to fire that enter trigger every turn cycle, and it copies, flickers and resurrects enter-the-battlefield creatures over and over. It also hands opponents extra bodies and goads them, so the board turns into a constant brawl that bleeds the table through death triggers and repeated life drain. How it wins: Repeated Kardur and goad effects force opponents to throw their creatures into each other, while Kardur, Blood Artist, Massacre Wurm, Gray Merchant and other drain effects turn every death and every re-entry into lost life until the table falls. Key roles: - Blink and re-entry: Re-trigger Kardur's forced-attack enter ability and other strong enter effects each turn by exiling and returning creatures, or by letting them die and come back. (Conjurer's Closet, Voyager Staff, Kaya's Ghostform) - Copy engines: Make hasty token copies of enter-the-battlefield creatures, doubling up on Kardur triggers, drains and sweeps, and some can copy straight from the graveyard. (Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Mimic Vat, Feldon of the Third Path) - Death-return tricks: Cheap instants and auras let a creature die in combat or to a sacrifice and return to the battlefield, re-firing its enter trigger and dodging removal. (Undying Malice, Feign Death, Minion's Return) - Goad and forced war: Beyond Kardur, more effects push opposing creatures to attack each other, and the Death Kiss bonus makes those fights bloodier. (Disrupt Decorum, Geode Rager, Death Kiss) - Gifted attackers: Strong-for-cost cards hand opponents tokens, which then get goaded into attacking, die, and feed Kardur's drain. (Hunted Horror, Hunted Dragon, Rite of the Raging Storm) - Aristocrat drain and payoffs: Death triggers, devotion drain and sweepers convert the carnage into life loss and cards. (Blood Artist, Massacre Wurm, Gray Merchant of Asphodel)
