Sméagol, Helpful Guide drives a strategy centered on repeatedly triggering the Ring temptation mechanic by sacrificing creatures or engineering creature deaths, stealing lands from opponents' libraries to accelerate your mana while milling away their resources. The deck fuels its sacrifice engine with token generators, death-payoff enchantments like Dictate of Erebos that force opponents to sacrifice their own creatures, and card draw outlets that reward creatures dying, while graveyard recursion effects continuously rebuy creatures to sacrifice again. The deck closes games by overwhelming opponents with a bloated board of stolen lands and recursive threats, leveraging mass reanimation effects like Rise of the Dark Realms to convert milled graveyards into a lethal army, or grinding out life loss through repeated Ring temptation triggers and sacrifice pressure.
