The deck revolves around stacking +1/+1 counters on permanents, with Pir, Imaginative Rascal amplifying every counter placement and Toothy, Imaginary Friend growing enormous through card draw while threatening a massive draw cascade when it leaves play. Multiple enchantments that double or increase counter accumulation accelerate the strategy, while creatures that reward counter growth — like those that become unblockable or pump the whole team — convert the snowballing board into a lethal attack. The deck wins by either swinging with an overwhelmingly large team, often boosted by a finisher that grants trample proportional to the strongest creature, or by leveraging Walking Ballista as a mana sink that scales with the counter doubling into a direct damage win condition.
