Hazel of the Rootbloom builds an ever-expanding army of tokens — primarily Squirrels — by copying tokens at each end step, doubling Squirrel production, and tapping those tokens through her ability to generate large amounts of mana that fuels further spells and board development. The deck leverages death triggers and drain effects from cards like Nadier's Nightblade and Zulaport Cutthroat to bleed opponents as tokens are sacrificed or die, while also threatening to overwhelm the board with a wide alpha strike. The primary combo win involves Academy Manufactor tripling token production alongside Hazel's Brewmaster and Gourmand's Talent, flooding the board with infinite artifact tokens that can be converted into unbounded mana and life payments, enabling lethal drain or an unstoppable attack.
