Teval, the Balanced Scale fuels the deck by milling cards on attack and returning lands from the graveyard to the battlefield, while also generating a steady stream of Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard — whether through casting, recursion, or exile. The deck exploits this token engine by repeatedly cycling cards through the graveyard using self-mill, dredge effects like Life from the Loam, and recursive creatures that return themselves or others from the bin, flooding the board while generating value from death and sacrifice triggers. The primary win condition is an infinite loop using Gravecrawler and Woe Strider alongside The Ghoul, Gunslinger to create unbounded sacrifice and death trigger cycles, while a massive land-fueled token army backed by cards like Avenger of Zendikar and Scute Swarm provides a strong secondary path to victory.
