Yurlok of Scorch Thrash sits at the center of a mana-burn strategy, using global mana-doubling enchantments and symmetrical mana-producing effects to flood all players with more mana than they can spend, converting that excess directly into life loss. War's Toll and similar land-tapping effects force opponents to empty their lands all at once, while cards that punish untapped lands at end step compound the damage for anyone who tries to hold back. The deck wins by draining opponents through accumulated mana-burn damage, often accelerating the kill with Wound Reflection to double life loss at end step, or by funneling its own preserved mana into a massive Exsanguinate or Walking Ballista finish.
