The deck's primary gameplan is to assemble an engine of sacrifice outlets, death triggers, and Treasure generation, ultimately winning through infinite loops involving Pitiless Plunderer — most cleanly alongside Stridehangar Automaton and Evereth to deal lethal commander damage to all opponents when Evereth dies. A secondary angle uses infect-granting spells to make Evereth's death trigger or combat damage lethal with poison counters, while effects like Dictate of Erebos punish opponents for every sacrifice made.
