Beledros Witherbloom builds a life total as a resource engine, generating Pest tokens each upkeep to gain life, while powerful landfall and land-fetching effects fuel explosive mana production that can be doubled or tripled by enchantments and creatures that multiply land output. The deck then spends that life freely — paying 10 life to untap all lands for massive mana surges, fueling life-payment draw effects with Vilis, Broker of Blood, and draining opponents through death triggers and life drain effects. The primary win condition is a two-card loop between Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Shard of the Nightbringer that converts a large life total into a lethal drain, backed up by high-X mana spells that force opponents to sacrifice their boards or lose life repeatedly.
