The deck floods the board with self-sacrificing tokens and recursive creatures like Gravecrawler, using aristocrats-style payoffs — draining opponents whenever creatures enter or die — alongside sacrifice outlets and altars to generate mana and trigger these effects repeatedly. The primary win conditions are assembling drain loops through Yawgmoth, Thran Physician or Razaketh, the Foulblooded tutoring into key pieces, culminating in either bleeding opponents dry through repeated sacrifice triggers or an overwhelming reanimation engine fueled by Bolas's Citadel.
