The deck revolves around repeatedly mutating Illuna, Apex of Wishes onto non-Human creatures to trigger its exile ability, which digs through the library and cheats high-value nonland permanents directly onto the battlefield. The strategy prioritizes stacking multiple mutations to fire the trigger repeatedly, ideally landing expensive enchantments, artifacts, or creatures for free while Illuna itself grows into a flying, trampling threat. To maximize the value of each trigger, the deck manipulates its library through topdeck ordering effects so that the most impactful permanents are positioned to be hit by the exile effect.
