Norin the Wary Commander Deck

Norin the Wary exploits his own constant blinking — exiling himself whenever any spell is cast or creature attacks and returning at each end step — to repeatedly trigger enter-the-battlefield damage payoffs like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and similar effects that deal damage to each opponent whenever a creature enters. The deck amplifies these pings into lethal quantities through a stack of damage-doubling and damage-adding enchantments, turning each small trigger into a serious threat. Token generators provide additional fodder for enter-the-battlefield triggers and attack triggers like Cavalcade of Calamity, while nonbasic land hate and hand-cycling effects pressure opponents and accelerate the clock.
