Zimone, Infinite Analyst sits at the center of a self-reinforcing engine where casting X-cost spells grows her counter total, which in turn reduces the cost of future X spells, allowing increasingly massive hydras, fractals, and other X-cost threats to hit the battlefield. Multiple counter-doubling effects stack on top of Hardened Scales and similar amplifiers to ensure every counter placed translates into exponentially larger creatures, while Unbound Flourishing doubles or copies X spells to maximize their impact. The deck wins through overwhelming combat with enormous creatures, using mass power-setting effects like Biomass Mutation to turn the entire board into a lethal threat, or simply generating enough card advantage and mana from X-cost spell payoffs to bury opponents under a flood of outsized permanents.
