Hofri Ghostforge drives a strategy centered on repeatedly exploiting enter-the-battlefield and death triggers by turning every nontoken creature that dies into a buffed Spirit token with haste and trample. The deck leverages a suite of temporary theft effects to steal opponents' creatures, then sacrifices them to keep the stolen creatures permanently as Spirit tokens through Hofri's exile replacement, effectively converting enemies into your own army. Warstorm Surge and Impact Tremors amplify this engine by dealing damage whenever creatures enter, while Brion Stoutarm and sacrifice outlets like Fling let you weaponize your creatures' power as direct damage before converting them into Spirits.
