The deck revolves around accumulating Heartwood tokens, which are artifact mana rocks that produce red or green mana, to build a wide artifact count while accelerating future activations. Aerid Konstrari's activated ability creates additional Heartwood tokens and then converts the total artifact count into a massive power boost, setting up a lethal commander damage swing. The gameplan focuses on generating as many artifacts as possible through Aerid's enters, death, and paid activations, then crashing in with a commander whose power scales directly with that artifact count.
