Abigale, Eloquent First-Year leads a blink-and-flicker strategy that repeatedly exiles and returns her own creatures to trigger powerful enter-the-battlefield effects, most notably draining opponents through Gray Merchant of Asphodel's devotion trigger and Archon of Cruelty's cascading resource denial. The deck layers lifelink and life-doubling effects like Enduring Tenacity and Wound Reflection to convert gained life into offensive pressure, while a suite of high-downside demons and threats that give opponents resources or tokens are offset by the deck's ability to remove or exploit those concessions. The deck wins by grinding opponents down through repeated life loss and enter-the-battlefield punishment, backed by tutors and draw engines that ensure the engine stays fueled.
