Samut, the Driving Force leads a wide token swarm strategy that aims to rapidly advance speed by flooding the board with creatures and dealing consistent damage to opponents each turn. As speed increases, the power boost to your entire army becomes massive, and noncreature spells — particularly the many token-generating sorceries and instants in the deck — become dramatically cheaper, enabling explosive turns where you cast multiple spells and create dozens of tokens at once. Storm spells like Chatterstorm and Empty the Warrens, convoke-based mass token producers, and enchantments that deal damage on creature entry all convert the wide board into lethal damage through combat or triggered burn effects.
