Ureni of the Unwritten is a Temur Dragon tribal ramp deck. It accelerates hard into seven mana, then uses Ureni's enter and attack triggers to cheat Dragons from the top eight cards straight onto the battlefield, turning every swing into a free threat. The payoff Dragons multiply on entry, through copies, extra 5/5 tokens and burn for each Dragon arriving, while haste enablers and double strike turn the growing flying army into lethal damage within a turn or two. How it wins: It overwhelms opponents with a wide, hasty air force of Dragons pumped by double strike and damage doubling, finishing with Dragon-entry burn, or with infinite combat phases from Old Gnawbone plus Hellkite Charger. Key roles: - Land ramp: Lots of land searching, mana rocks and creature-only mana dorks race to Ureni's seven mana and the many six-to-eight-drop Dragons. A self-bouncing ramp enchantment can be replayed after each Dragon enters. (Cultivate, Encroaching Dragonstorm, Somberwald Sage) - Dragon cheating and tutoring: Ureni's triggers, plus other effects that put creatures into play or make Dragons free, skip mana costs entirely, while Dragon-only lands fix colors, protect from counters, find Dragons and recur them. (Dracogenesis, Hellkite Courser, Maelstrom of the Spirit Dragon) - Dragon multipliers: These copy every nontoken Dragon that enters or create big Dragon tokens on entry and on attack, snowballing each cheated Dragon into several bodies. (Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Utvara Hellkite) - Entry burn: Each creature or Dragon entering deals damage scaled by its power or by the Dragon count, and damage doubling amplifies it. This doubles as removal and as reach to close games. (Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, Dragon Tempest) - Combat amplifiers and haste: Haste, double strike and extra combats make freshly cheated Dragons attack at once, and each attack retriggers Ureni. (Atarka, World Render, Temur Ascendancy, Hellkite Charger) - Big-body card flow and Treasure: Power-4-or-greater entry draw keeps the hand full. Combat-damage Treasure makers fuel more Dragons and enable the Old Gnawbone plus Hellkite Charger loop, where Treasure from combat pays for repeated untaps and extra combats. (Garruk's Uprising, Old Gnawbone, Goldspan Dragon)
