Teval, the Balanced Scale drives a self-mill engine, filling your graveyard through attacking, landfall triggers, and draw-step synergies while returning lands to the battlefield and generating a steady stream of Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The deck leverages these graveyard departures to draw cards, create Treasures, and build a board state, while recursion effects continuously replay threats from the graveyard and Muldrotha, the Gravetide enables permanent-type reuse each turn. The primary win conditions are opponent mill combos, most notably Fraying Sanity paired with mass-mill spells like Traumatize or Maddening Cacophony to force an exponential library wipe in a single turn cycle, backed by Jace, Wielder of Mysteries as an alternate victory through self-library depletion.
