Dogmeat, Ever Loyal
Dogmeat, Ever Loyal Commander Deck
The deck is a Boros-Selesnya "creatures that never die" build. It suits up its creatures with indestructibility, deathtouch and protective Auras and Equipment, then uses them as removal through fight and bite effects. Dogmeat, Ever Loyal ties the plan together: its enter trigger mills five and returns an Aura or Equipment card to hand, and every attack by an enchanted or equipped creature creates a Junk token that turns into card advantage, so the deck is layered with hexproof, protection, token fodder and recursion to shrug off exile, sacrifice, -X/-X and wipes. The deck avoids black entirely. How it wins: It attacks every turn with hard-to-answer, suited-up creatures that clear blockers with deathtouch fights and bites, while Junk tokens refuel the hand until the opponents run out of answers. Key roles: - Indestructible and deathtouch suit-ups: Auras and Equipment that grant indestructible, deathtouch, hexproof or protection, so creatures survive combat and removal and each attack makes a Junk token through Dogmeat, Ever Loyal (Dogmeat, Ever Loyal) - Fight and bite removal: creature-based damage effects that turn deathtouch or indestructible creatures into one-sided removal, killing anything they touch while taking no lasting harm - Anti-exile and anti-wipe protection: hexproof, shroud, protection and phasing effects that blank exile spells, targeted -X/-X and board wipes the indestructible plan can't survive alone - Sacrifice fodder: token makers that soak up edict and sacrifice effects so the important equipped creatures stay on the field, with Dogmeat, Ever Loyal's Junk tokens doubling as spare bodies for edicts that ask for any permanent (Dogmeat, Ever Loyal) - Graveyard recursion: milling and return effects that bring back creatures, Auras and Equipment after they are lost, led by Dogmeat, Ever Loyal's mill-five-and-return trigger (Dogmeat, Ever Loyal) - Junk-fueled card flow: attacking with enchanted or equipped creatures creates Junk tokens that exile and play cards, along with other ways to profit from attacking suited-up creatures, keeping the deck stocked with threats and answers (Dogmeat, Ever Loyal)
